Welcome Rains
For many years, our club and neighbouring
clubs have been suffering with droughts. Now we have had
good rains and all of our dams are full, and the course will
show the benefit in coming months.
More exciting still is the confirmed news
that Thaxted Park Golf Club's water future has been secured
with an allocation of up to 100 megalitres of water from the
Onkaparinga Council's "Waterproofing the South" initiative.
This will basically triple the amount of water the Club
currently has at their disposal when the dams are full.
